INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DIRECTORS ONLY FORUM

In an effort to make this online community limited only to front line directors we have created a series of steps that we hope will ensure that access to this tool is restricted to directors only.

Please follow the following steps to gain access:

1. Please log-in to the Members Only section of this Web site using your member number and log-in name.

2. Once you are logged in, you will see two columns with buttons. The right column is titled "Options Open To Members Only." At the bottom you will see a button that reads "Director Only Forum". Clicking on this will lead you to the online community for directors.

3. The Directors Only forum and community is hosted by Network54. You may receive a warning notification that you are leaving the Sweet Adelines International Web site. It is safe to override this warning.

4. At Network54 access to the moderated online forum for SAI front line directors, so you will need to apply to the group to gain access. Access is restricted until your application is approved. Again, these measures are to keep the group as private as possible and allow for a free and open exchange between directors. To apply to the group, please create a unique user profile and log-in name and password. While access to this forum is as private as possible, please remember that the Internet is a public exchange and what you post on the Forum may become available to the public-at-large via search engine caches and meta-crawlers. Therefore, it is recommended that you use a unique screen name (i.e. nickname, online alias, handle) as your username in order to protect your identity. Once you gain access the Forum's Index to the Bulletin Boards and Chat Room, you may choose to use your screen name, real name or anonymous when posting.

5. Upon completing this initial process, your application to the group will be submitted electronically. Applications will be assessed Monday through Friday, therefore weekend applications will require a few days until access to the Forum is granted.

6. One you have gained access to the Forum you may want to bookmark (Ctrl+D) the Index page for direct access so that you may easily visit the Forum on a regular basis while avoiding steps one through three (listed above).
