How the Campaign works

What is the campaign?
The campaign is a fun, fully integrated and well-planned membership marketing campaign. We want to help YOU get more members for your chorus. And we are giving you the tools and the know-how to guide you through it.

Why do we NEED more Members?
Growing the size of your chorus has a dramatic and positive effect on you, the individual member: A larger chorus has more volunteers to run the chorus; more members bring in more funds, which mean better facilities and services for every member; more members ensure the stability of the chorus within the international organization, and more voices on the stage make your chorus more competitive and increase the power of your musical product.

Even if you are not interested in increasing the number of members in your chorus, you STILL need to recruit due to an average attrition loss of 15 percent each year.

Free Digital Multimedia Presentation CD
The Digital Multimedia Presentation CD¹ is a small disc that is inserted into a computer CD drive. A supply of these CDs will be mailed to each chorus, free of charge², along with a CD-Rom containing artwork and templates of ads, brochures and flyers for you to customize.

Obviously, these CDs are reusable, and you want to get as many as possible back. So, when your prospect comes to a guest night or rehearsal, she is encouraged to return the CD in exchange for her Free Vocal Lessons and Free Trial Membership.

¹The Digital Multimedia Presentation CD is completely safe and does not install on the hard drive of the computer. It cannot carry any viruses.

²If your chorus wants more CDs, you can order them from International Sales at a reduced cost during this promotion.

Free Vocal Lessons and Free Trial Memberships
We are recommending that choruses participating in this membership campaign offer Free Vocal Lessons and Free Trial Memberships. You may already be doing this, but not have an official name for it. Or, your chorus may choose not to do this. This is at the discretion of each individual chorus.
