Education

The main purpose of Sweet Adelines International is education of members in the art of singing four-part harmony, barbershop style. If you want to improve your singing abilities and learn a cappella harmony barbershop style, Sweet Adelines International offers the most comprehensive, quality education available anywhere in the world. Nearly every chorus provides access to leading experts in the areas of vocal production, choreography, stage direction, costuming, stage makeup, judging, teaching (faculty), chorus management, arranging, directing, personal growth and leadership. Together, our teams of international educators have created effective programs designed to help every woman achieve success.

Young Women in Harmony
The Young Women in Harmony Program focuses on acquainting young female singers with the barbershop style, primarily in school-based choruses and quartets. Complimentary teaching materials and sheet music are available to music educators, who may also receive volunteer support from local Sweet Adeline choruses, quartets and individual members.
