Specialized Tracks
IES brings quality education to every participant. Specialists in each field have planned programs of sequential learning in a variety of subjects. Individual tracks blend required and elective classes. These tracks target the following areas: choreographers and visual leaders, coaches, directors and novice directors, section leaders, judges, IMAP members, RMT members, symposium chorus, quartets, vocal production, music educators, Young Women in Harmony and general electives. With this "school within a school" concept, participants will be able to focus on a special area of interest without sacrificing elective opportunities.

Judges Track
Specialized training funded by the international organization will be provided to members of the International Judging Program beginning Wednesday morning July 11 and will continue throughout IES. Judges will be invited to score the Rising Star and Harmony Classic Contests as part of their training.

IMAP Track
Members of the International Music Arrangers Program will also receive specialized training at IES beginning Thursday, July 12 and throughout IES.

International Champion Quartet
The current International Champion Quartet will perform at all general sessions and demonstrate in classes through the symposium.

Music in the Morning
Music in the morning is an IES favorite! Each day starts with a full-length class of warm-up exercises, vocal techniques and rehearsal energizers taught by top director/choreographer teams.

Rising Star Quartet Contest
Join your Sweet Adelines International friends at the ninth annual Rising Star Quartet Contest as they cheer on dynamic young quartets from all over the world.

Harmony Classic Contest
Ten of the best small and midsize choruses compete in 12-15 minute performance packages. Witness the eigth annual Harmony Classic Contest where these exciting choruses "strut their stuff" on stage.

Opening Night Session
The Opening Night Session promises to be full of entertainment, symposium songs and a reception that follows.

Saturday Closing Ceremony
Immediately following the Harmony Classic Contests, enjoy the performances of the Symposium Chorus and the Young Women in Harmony Chorus.

Saturday Closing Party
