Specialized
Tracks
IES brings quality education to every participant. Specialists in
each field have planned programs of sequential learning in a variety
of subjects. Individual tracks blend required and elective classes.
These tracks target the following areas: choreographers and visual
leaders, coaches, directors and novice directors, section leaders,
judges, IMAP members, RMT members, symposium chorus, quartets, vocal
production, music educators, Young Women in Harmony and general electives.
With this "school within a school" concept, participants
will be able to focus on a special area of interest without sacrificing
elective opportunities.
Judges
Track
Specialized training funded by the international organization will
be provided to members of the International Judging Program beginning
Wednesday morning July 11 and will continue throughout IES. Judges
will be invited to score the Rising Star and Harmony Classic Contests
as part of their training.
IMAP
Track
Members of the International Music Arrangers Program will also receive
specialized training at IES beginning Thursday, July 12 and throughout
IES.
International
Champion Quartet
The current International Champion Quartet will perform at all general
sessions and demonstrate in classes through the symposium.

class of warm-up exercises, vocal techniques and rehearsal energizers
taught by top director/choreographer teams.
