Millennium Magic Chorus Competed at the 2009 Harmony Classic Competition in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 20, 2009.
Region 1 Millennium Magic Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, from Manchester, Conn. took the gold at the Harmony Classic Division A Competition held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in Nashville, Tenn. The 21-member chorus, which chartered in June 2000, wowed the judges and audience with their creative and musical 15-minute entertainment package. Although Millenium Magic Chorus has two certified directors within its membership it is one of very few Sweet Adelines choruses that perform without a director. This is the chorus' third time to compete in the Harmony Classic Division A competition and its second time to take home the gold medal. Millennium Magic won the regional Division A championship six times in nine years. Holding the gold medal in this international competition is extremely rewarding for them.
