Congratulations
A Cappella Gold!
Oreo
& Milk Jingle Contest Winners

Just
like American Idol, the American public voted for their winner,
and A CAPPELLA GOLD, a Sweet Adelines International barbershop quartet,
won the Oreo and Milk Jingle competition!
The national contest was open to the public and received thousands
of entries, from rock, to pop, and rap, to blues, but it was the
a cappella group that received the most votes. Kim Hulbert said,"Winning
the contest is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we're so glad
that Oreo gave us the opportunity and America chose us as the winners!"
A CAPPELLA GOLD members, Kim Hulbert, Bette Gorton, Tomi McEvoy
and Susan Lamb, all from San Diego County, Calif., have traveled
to Hollywood to meet with Randy Jackson and record the Oreo radio
commercial that will start airing early next year.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2006--
Four-Woman Band "A Cappella Gold" Receives $10,000 and

"Oreo & Milk Jingle" Contest
Four California women married their passion for singing and a childhood
love of Oreo cookies to win the hearts of America - along with $10,000,
the opportunity to record an Oreo commercial and meet Grammy Award-winning
producer Randy Jackson! "A Cappella Gold," a women's barbershop
quartet from San Diego submitted their "fresh, original and
funny four-part a cappella harmony" musical version of the
classic "Oreo & Milk Jingle" to this year's 'Oreo
& Milk Jingle' contest. They were chosen as one of five finalist
groups who appeared on the Oreo web site (www.oreo.com) throughout
the summer where America was invited to log on and choose their
favorite version.

group member Kim Hulbert. "Winning the contest is a once-in-a
lifetime experience and we're so glad that Oreo gave us the opportunity

Contest host Randy Jackson was one of the first to congratulate
the group in a winner ceremony in Hollywood.
"A Cappella Gold has a lot of talent, but even more importantly
they were able to create that special, unique Oreo & Milk moment,
which is really what Oreo is all about," said Jackson. "This
is the second year I've been involved with the 'Oreo & Milk
Jingle' contest because it's is a great way for people to showcase
their talent and personality - and get the chance to record an Oreo
commercial!"
The
Women of "A Cappella Gold"
Kimberly Hulbert, Elizabeth Gorton, Tomi McEvoy and Susan Jane Lamb
have always had a passion for singing. The four women are all members
of the San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, a women's
a cappella music organization. They say that once they realized
how well their voices blended together, they decided to form their
own group and have been singing together for nine years. The women
have also been instrumental in leading the 100-member chorus to
seven Regional Championship medals as well as numerous International
medals; most recently, winning the International Gold medal for
an a cappella performance in October 2002.
About the Contest
Earlier
this year, the "Oreo & Milk Jingle" contest invited
small groups of family or friends (2-4 people) to put their own
musical twist on the classic O-R-E-O jingle. Five finalist groups
were selected by a panel of experts this spring, and their jingle
renditions were posted on www.oreo.com for America to choose the
winning group this summer.
Timeless Tradition
"Oreo and Milk" is a classic combination that has brought
family and friends together for more than 90 years. For more information
