The quartet performed Last Night on the Back Porch
and I'm Afraid the Masquerade is Over to walk away
with the crown of International Quartet Champions.
Last year at the international quartet competition in Portland,
Ore., the quartet placed third, the previous year in Orlando,
FL. they placed second. SWINGLISH MIX has placed in the
top five every year for the last five years and triumphantly
brought home the gold this year.
The title was a second for
lead Suzanne Harrington and bass Naima Meyer, who won with
the GROWING GIRLS quartet in 1989.
